Circle K members exhibiting a successful service day

Be part of the Kiwanis and CKI

Inspiration & Idea Center

Again this year, the international conventions of Kiwanis and Circle K International will be held simultaneously in our host city. So we’re making sure members of both Kiwanis and CKI can showcase their best work in Vancouver.

Be a part of the Kiwanis/CKI Inspiration and Idea Center. Located in the exhibit hall, the center will be an opportunity for clubs and districts to share success stories in service and fundraising. Here are the guidelines:

• There is no charge to exhibit. However, all members who help staff the booth must be paid registrants for the convention.
• Each club/district will be provided with a six-foot table free of charge. Exhibits are for showcasing projects. No sales will be allowed.
• Your club should prepare a brief summary of its project. Bring copies to share with members who may be inspired to try the project or fundraiser in their districts.
• If your club needs electricity for its display, work with the convention center. The club will be responsible for any charges incurred. Information about ordering electricity or additional furnishings will be provided with your confirmation letter.

• Exhibits can be set up either on Tuesday, June 25, between noon and 4 p.m., or on Wednesday, June 26, between 7 a.m. and noon.

• Plan to have club members at your booth during the Welcome Reception on Wednesday from 4 to 6 p.m. Staffing the booth for the remainder of the convention is optional. Tentative exhibit hall hours are Wednesday, noon–6 p.m.; Thursday, 11 a.m.–5 p.m.; Friday, 9 a.m.–3 p.m.; and Saturday, 8 a.m.–2 p.m.

We hope you’ll share your success story with Kiwanians and CKI club members from all over the world. For more details, email Download the Service Fair Application and return it no later than May 17, 2013.

A confirmation letter and a decorator kit with the convention center rules and regulations, electricity order form, etc., will be emailed after your application has been reviewed.
