Put your best foot forward with this fun fundraising idea. Hosting a dance is an exciting way to spread awareness and raise necessary funds for The Eliminate Project. Follow the easy steps outlined below to help save and protect women and babies from maternal and neonatal tetanus.

Best for: All Kiwanis-family clubs

Timeline: 4–6 weeks for preparation; 8–10 hours on day of event

How it works: Host a fun-filled event for participants willing to collect pledges, and dance, dance, dance all night long.

To-do list:

Pick a date, venue and times
Set minimum pledge amount
Promote event
Distribute pledge forms with a due date
Hire a DJ or band
Purchase refreshments
Recruit volunteers for setup and cleanup
Find volunteer chaperones for younger groups
Decorate your venue
Set up The Eliminate Project area
Plan alternative activities (e.g., games, karaoke)
