Festive day to benefit The Eliminate Project

Gather Kiwanis members, their families and the community for a festive day filled with food, music, games and fun—all to benefit The Eliminate Project.

Family Day

Best for: Kiwanis clubs, CKI clubs and Key Clubs

Timeline: 3 months for preparation; 5–7 hours on day of event

How it works: Create a fun-filled event featuring entertainment, food, games, prizes and a raffle for Kiwanis members, their families and the community to raise funds for The Eliminate Project.

To-do list:
  • Form a planning committee
  • Pick a date and time 
  • Reserve location
  • Determine activities
  • Solicit/purchase prizes for raffles, games or auction
  • Hire a band or other entertainment
  • Recruit volunteers
  • Set a ticket amount
  • Advertise as soon as details are set
  • Invite club members 
  • Print and sell tickets
  • Create an event flier
  • Distribute flier to Kiwanis clubs and in the community
