A glimpse at 2016 for SLP members

The Eliminate Project is a Kiwanis-family effort. From the youngest K-Kid to the oldest Kiwanis member, together we are making a difference in the fight to eliminate maternal and neonatal tetanus.

Many are aware that the active fundraising phase of The Eliminate Project concludes on December 31, 2015. While that is true, we have extended the timeline for members of Service Leadership Program (SLP) clubs, which includes K-Kids, Builders Club, Key Club, Circle K International and Aktion Club.

We are aware of how important the second semester is for these groups. And we know how important these groups are to our fundraising efforts, raising more than US$7 million in cash and pledges to date.

Here is what’s next for SLP clubs:

Eliminate Week and Show Your Love, Save a Life are happening in 2016.

• Clubs can participate in fundraisers or individuals can donate to The Eliminate Project through the spring.

Recognition opportunities will be available through the school year.

2016 brings a new year full of new possibilities – and fundraising opportunities. Make the most of the coming months and show your support for moms and babies everywhere. Find fundraising ideas and resources on our website.
