8,999 + YOU!

(Multi-division coordinator Judith Kuhn is a fixture of the newly created La Esperanza club.)

Multi-division coordinators are working in their areas to recruit the next level of campaign leadership – the division coordinator. Division coordinators are an integral part of the campaign team as they support both club coordinators and their multi-division coordinator.

When recruitment of division coordinators is complete, they will number 900 and help direct the efforts of multiple clubs. Currently, multi-division coordinators have recruited 54 percent of all needed division coordinators. Those interested in getting involved with The Eliminate Project as a division coordinator should contact their area leadership before January 31, 2012 for more information. Each district is led by a district coordinator and several multi-division coordinators ready to speak about The Eliminate Project.

After orientation, division coordinators will search their divisions for club coordinators. Each Kiwanis club will have a club coordinator who will work with the division coordinator for the duration of the campaign, which ends in 2015. Club coordinators will be supported by a club vice-coordinator and a club treasurer. Together, this team of three will organize the efforts and reports for their club. You should expect to hear much about the club coordinator opportunity at your mid-year conferences.

A special congratulation is due to our leaders Dr. Arón Benzadón Cohen, Julio Linares Franco, Henry Sanchez and Judith Kuhn from the Andean and Central American District who have completed 100 percent recruitment of their division coordinators. Other 100 percent recruitment leaders include: Gus Hawkins (Indiana), Dot Leakey (Kansas), Bill Daugherty (Minnesota-Dakotas), Dave Curry (Montana) and Ron Smith (Southwest), Eliane Ott-Scheffer (France-Monaco), Luit Ezinga (Netherlands), Huang Wu-Tien and Vivian Tsai (Taiwan), Koshiro Kitazato (Japan), Jose Altavas (Philippine South), and Chin Tuan Koh (Malaysia).
