Become a jolly good Zeller Fellow

Who knew 25 Canadian silver dollars could launch a multi-million dollar organization that now underwrites life-altering worldwide service projects? Walter Zeller must have, for it was his gift in 1940 that started the Kiwanis International Foundation. And it’s going to take forward-thinking people and gifts like Walter’s to raise the US$110 million needed to protect and save mothers and babies around the world.

The founder of the Zellers chain of thrift stores, Walter gave much of his time to service and philanthropy. To honor his commitment, the foundation has created the Walter Zeller Fellowship exclusively for The Eliminate Project: Kiwanis eliminating maternal and neonatal tetanus.

Make a one-time gift or two-year consecutive pledge of US$1,250 and you’ll become a Walter Zeller Fellow. You’ll receive a special medallion, lapel pin and certificate. And when you donate in full before September 30 (either online or by mail or fax), you’ll be recognized as a Charter Zeller Fellow. Learn more about this extraordinary man and take steps to join him by making your pledge at www.TheEliminateProject.org/give.
