In 2014, the Key Club International Convention will be held in Anaheim, California. When was the last time the Key Club convention was held there?*

That’s just one of the trivia questions asked on July 5, when alumni gathered at Mellow Mushroom in Washington, D.C. But the evening was more than “trivial.” A diverse group of Key Club and Circle K alumni came together for the event, which allowed former members of the programs to remember good times and talk about the future.

Exclusive event brings alumni together

In Vancouver, more than 100 Key Club and Circle K International alumni gathered at Bellaggio Café during the Kiwanis International convention. For members of the alumni networks, it was an exclusive chance to reconnect with old friends and make new ones—a prime example of the advantages of joining the alumni network.

In fact, the high-energy event benefited from the diverse experiences of attendees. Conversation revealed that their graduation years ranged from 1950 to 2012—and that fond memories of the programs were vivid for everyone.

Annual Key Club International Alumni Gathering

EVENT SOLD OUT

The Alumni Dinner held during Kiwanis International’s annual convention gives CKI alumni a chance to reconnect with old friends and make new ones. The night will include updates on the alumni initiative, dinner, giveaways and great conversation with fellow alumni.

Key Club ICON 2011

On June 30, The Eliminate Project Charity Walk attracted 1,400 Key Clubbers who were attending the Key Club International Convention in Phoenix. That turnout required a lot of volunteers—and Key Club alumni came through.

Along with some Circle K International alumni, the volunteers lent a hand to the walkers, who were supporting Kiwanis’ global campaign for children. The event raised more than US$15,000 for The Eliminate Project’s fundraising campaign.

Viva the Alumni Association!

Did you miss the sold out alumni event in Vegas? Here’s what went down. During the 2010 Kiwanis International Convention in Vegas, nearly 300 attendees celebrated their alumni connection with Key Club International.

In addition to the gorgeous facility and delicious hors d'oeuvres at Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville, the attendees learned about the new alumni association website and the opportunity to join their respective alumni association free of charge until June 2011.
