Alumni shares her story

Alumnus Kessa Den Hoed shares some thoughts on the value of the Key Club experience

I fell in love with the idea of Key Club when I was in the 10th grade. Watching them do so many amazing things for the Eliminate Project is what made me decide Key Club was something worth checking out. So in the 11th grade I tried it out and joined Key Club! I had a lot of fun, made new friends, and really felt like I was making a difference.

In the 12th grade I ran for secretary and won! It may have been a lot of work, but it was satisfying to know the what my fellow club members and I were accomplishing. I am so grateful for my Key Club experience. I am proud of what we did—and what the club continues to do with new members each year. Key Club is a golden opportunity to learn about service, meet new people, make memories, and have a lot of fun!

Key Club alumni, have you shared your story with us yet? Tell us your favorite memory, or about the kind of impact Key Club had on you. Big or small, we want them all!
