"We have a multi-functional strategy that is well accepted by all members in the district. The worldwide campaign is based on credible actions and respecting the individuality of clubs. We launched new mediums this year including a newspaper, website (eliminate.ch), company donations as well as a cellphone messaging service. We count on motivated clubs to create their own strategies. We support their efforts and share their ideas with others. It is therefore no surprise that 95 percent of the clubs are participating, and 25 Model Clubs are in the pipeline. We have already paid more than CHF 800,000 to UNICEF, which will save or protect more than 600,000 lives."
