Congratulations to the leaders and members in the Switzerland-Liechtenstein District for breaking US$1 million in funds raised for The Eliminate Project and helping save or protect more than 550,000 lives. Switzerland-Liechtenstein is the 10th district worldwide and the first European district to reach this milestone.
District Coordinator Werner Wild credits goal setting and the hard work by leaders and members to reach this achievement.
“Reaching a goal requires the effort and will of many leaders as well as members willing to participate in the fundraising campaign,” says Wild. “Even more, you also need a realistic goal for each club’s activities as well as an overall goal for the district.”
A strong volunteer team also helped Switzerland-Liechtenstein succeed.
“The right volunteer team combined with hard work led to these results,” adds Wild. “Thank you to all of my leaders and Kiwanis members.”
Switzerland-Liechtenstein joins Florida, Taiwan, California-Nevada-Hawaii, the Carolinas, Nebraska-Iowa, Ohio, Texas-Oklahoma, Illinois-Eastern Iowa and Eastern Canada and the Caribbean as a million dollar district. Together, their combined efforts will save or protect more than 6.1 million women and their future babies from maternal and neonatal tetanus.
Will your district be the next to raise US$1 million for The Eliminate Project? Find out.
