The Kiwanis International convention is less than six weeks away. It’s a wonderful opportunity to meet, or reconnect, with Kiwanis friends from around the world. It also provides a chance to celebrate our collective efforts to help eliminate maternal and neonatal tetanus through The Eliminate Project.
Consider including these campaign activities in your convention planning:
- The Eliminate Project Experience. Take a journey with The Eliminate Project and experience the trials women and newborns face in the developing world. This interactive event will celebrate our progress in eliminating MNT. Wednesday, June 26, 2:30–3:30 p.m.
- The Eliminate Project Walk. Join the campaign team for an early morning walk to save mothers and babies. Friday, June 28, 7–8 a.m.
- The Eliminate Project Luncheon. Celebrate with the entire Kiwanis family and hear about the success of The Eliminate Project from Caryl Stern, President and CEO of the U.S. Fund for UNICEF. Saturday, June 29, 11:45 a.m.–1:15 p.m.
- Educational workshops: Join at least one of the workshops offered to support The Eliminate Project in your district. Gather fundraising ideas, hear current stats and progress, or learn how easy it is to become a Model Club. Plus, you’ll have a chance to win an item from our new collection of merchandise.
And don’t forget to stop by The Eliminate Project booth for updated materials and new giveaways!
