THOMAS E. “TOM” DEJULIO

KIWANIS INTERNATIONAL VICE PRESIDENT

Thomas E. “Tom” DeJulio of Bronxville, New York, is vice president of Kiwanis International. He was elected in June 2010 at the 95th Annual Kiwanis International Convention in Las Vegas. Previously, he served as a trustee of Kiwanis International from 2005-08.

Tom joined the Kiwanis Club of Mount Vernon, New York in 1973 and was distinguished president in 1979-80. He has been a member of the Kiwanis Club of Fordham, Bronx since 1989. He has been chairman of education, service and public relations committees for each of these clubs.

Governor of the New York District in 1996-97, Tom is a certified Kiwanis trainer and served on district leadership and finance committees. In addition to his tenure as an international trustee, Tom has served as chairman of the international public relations, resolutions and bylaws, leadership development and service leadership support committees.

A life member, he is a charter member of the Kiwanis International Foundation’s Heritage Society and is a foundation ambassador, Diamond-level Hixson Fellow and Tablet of Honor recipient.

Tom earned his juris doctor degree from the Fordham School of Law in 1977 and serves as general counsel for Fordham University. He is active in his community, volunteering for the Boy Scouts of America and the Boys and Girls Club of Mount Vernon. He is the recipient of the Denzel Washington Community Service Award.

Tom’s wife of 35 years, Rosemary, is a 1994-95 past distinguished lieutenant governor and served five years as master instructor and education chair for the New York District.
