Kiwanis International and Kuoni Travel are offering several tours and excursions in and around Geneva and in other European countries exclusively for Kiwanians traveling to Geneva, Switzerland, for the 2011 Kiwanis International Convention. Tour information
Cost: Costs will be charged directly to the participants via the online excursion booking link. All rates are in Swiss francs (CHF). See conversion rates.
Language: All tours will be conducted in English. A 40-person minimum will ensure a guide performs tours in another language.
Cancelations: Tours must reach a minimum of 40 people, or they they will be canceled.
Health risks: Please check with your doctor if you have a heart condition, as the highest altitudes reached during some of the tours are as follows:
Aiguille du Midi: 3,842 meters (12,600 feet)
Jungfrau Joch: 3,454 meters (11,300 feet)
Those who do not wish to visit those sites can stay at a lower altitude (respectively Chamonix and Kleine Scheidegg).
Please keep in mind that some of the tours will require walking while visiting old towns and monuments. Be assured that the tour director will pace the visit so as to accommodate all.
