Our partners
Kiwanis International recognizes there is strength in numbers, and partnering with groups and organizations with similar missions makes Kiwanis even stronger.
Boys & Girls Clubs of America
In 2008, Kiwanis International joined in a memorandum of understanding with Boys & Girls Clubs of America to foster, nurture and establish a legacy of serving children, a cornerstone mission for both organizations. Learn more about Kiwanis’ relationship with Boys & Girls Clubs of America.
Boys & Girls Clubs of Canada
Kiwanis’ newest partner, Boys & Girls Clubs of Canada, exist in 100 clubs across the nation, and provide a safe, supportive place where children and youth can experience new opportunities, overcome barriers, build positive relationships and develop confidence and skills for life.
Boy Scouts of America
Kiwanis has partnered with Boy Scouts of America to ensure boys, young men and women may grow in character, citizenship responsibility and leadership to achieve their greatest potential.
Children’s Miracle Network
Key Club participates with Children’s Miracle Network by sponsoring fund-raising events. In addition to raising funds, Key Club members also participate in service projects at their local children's hospital.
Heartland Truly Moving Pictures
Kiwanis International is pleased to partner with Heartland Truly Moving Pictures. After all, Kiwanians are dedicated to making a difference one child and one community at a time. And Heartland believes that one film can make a difference in the world. In each case, it all begins with one person taking action. That’s why Heartland offers educational programs and resources that help engage youth in service and character development activities based on themes in Heartland Truly Moving Picture Award-winning films.
March of Dimes
Kiwanis International, CKI and Key Club are proud to partner with the March of Dimes to give every baby a healthy start! Members are helping by raising thousands of dollars annually through various programs, including its signature event, March for Babies.
UNICEF
Kiwanis International joined forces with UNICEF to combat iodine deficiency disorders (IDD) worldwide during the Worldwide Service Project for IDD. Now, Kiwanis and UNICEF are partnering again on The Eliminate Project: Kiwanis eliminating maternal/neonatal tetanus. Kiwanis and UNICEF are reaching out to the world’s poorest, most underserved women and children to eliminate maternal/neonatal tetanus by 2015.
For more than 15 years, Key Club members have been Trick-or-Treating for UNICEF, raising nearly US$5 million to combat Iodine deficiency disorders worldwide and HIV and AIDS in Kenya and Swaziland. Currently, Key Club and UNICEF are working together to raise US$1.5 million to benefit Uruguay.
CKI also is proud to participate annually in Saving Lives: The Six Cents Initiative, an initiative to supply clean water and sanitation to children worldwide.
