Reaching children in India through science

Indian students who benefited from Kiwanis International Foundation grant

Carrying a backpack and hauling trunks of science equipment for the ALFA orphanage school in Bangalore, Belton Kiwanian Suetta Albin traveled more than 48 hours and 10,000 miles, finally entering India during the first week of January 2010. Within this time frame Albin was nominated for the Texas Oklahoma District’s Extra Mile Award. She was able to provide the equipment through a grant provided by the Kiwanis International Foundation.

Check out the photos below of students and teachers who benefited from the grant.
