The time has come to celebrate families with Kiwanis Family Month. There’s a powerful unity that exists among Kiwanis, its foundation and its Service Leadership Programs, and it should be recognized!
In November, more than 600,000 Kiwanis-family adult and youth volunteers will celebrate their partnership in community service. The Kiwanis family promotes the ideals of voluntary services as a means to improve lives and give something back to the community. Are you a part of the family? If not, now is the perfect time to join, become part of the family and start making a difference in your community and the world!
Our family includes adult Kiwanis clubs, Circle K clubs for university students, Aktion Clubs for adults with disabilities, Key Clubs for high school students, Builders Clubs for junior/middle school students and K-Kids for primary schoolchildren.
Make sure you take time to celebrate by:
- Have a fun joint meeting with other area Kiwanis-family clubs.
- Promote and raise funds for The Eliminate Project.
- Charter a new club.
- Invite and welcome new members.
- Organize a service project in honor of families.
Your club could also host social activities in your community, such as:
- Game night
- Ice cream social
- TV trivia challenge
- Movie night
- Chili cookoff
How will you celebrate Kiwanis Family Month?
